Macmillan's team is seeking an individual who will be a key member of the Technology team, whose responsibilities will include: providing administrative, editorial, and media support to the SVP of Technology. This individual must possess excellent communication and organization skills.


  • Provide general administrative support including but not limited to travel arrangements, itineraries, expense reports, and correspondence, scheduling, and planning company meetings.
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations and update excel spreadsheets under the direction of Executive Management
  • Arrange Executives email correspondence and other communications while replying in a prompt matter
  • As an active member of the technology leadership team, provide team management functions: coordinate team meetings, organize team backlog and ensure operational excellence for the team
  • Conduct various administrative tasks: filing, copying, scanning etc. Work with confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner
  • Employ an energetic and positive, can-do attitude while understanding the organizations values and ethics


  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft office (word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
  • High degree of professionalism and a thorough understanding of confidentiality; strong work ethic
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively as well as with some autonomy
  • Bachelor's Degree + 2 years of experience preferred. 5+ years of executive admin experience in lieu of degree.
