Mobility Marketing Communications Consultant Sacramento, California, United States

The Mobility (MO) Employee & Leadership Communications (ELC) Consultant is responsible for implementing internal-facing executive and business unit communications. Communications include executive platforms, messaging related to activities and events, employee programs, overseeing the Mobility intranet and digital communications, and writing, editing and publishing a monthly Mobility on the Move newsletter. This role will also interface with the Corporate Communications team. The position reports to the Mobility Marketing Communications Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Includes the following; other duties may be assigned.

Works in support of Mobility E&LC on employee and executive-level programs and produces an editorial calendar in support of these efforts Supports and executes employee and leadership communications strategy to promote and support the mission, objectives and business goals of the organization Works closely with the Corporate Communications and MO teams in the implementation of internal communications strategies, including support of the intranet and corporate publishing, including monthly newsletter, intranet articles and internal announcements.

Ability to establish and sustain working relationships with key senior stakeholders in Siemens Ability to forge cross-organizational collaboration Ability to demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, preempt potential problems and provide effective solutions by application of concepts, knowledge, resources or processes Knowledgeable and experienced with organizational change management practices Ability to work with managers and employees of all levels in advising and gathering, preparing and vetting materials in a professional manner Travel, as required to support business initiatives (15%)

EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in Journalism, Communications, English or related field

EXPERIENCE: 7-10 years of experience with a strong emphasis in strategic employee communication, change management, internal company journalism or comparable work Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and competing deadlines Experienced with vendors, suppliers or agencies Proven ability to influence and succeed in complex work environment

SKILLS/PROFICIENCIES: Project coordination Strong communications skills, including verbal, written and presentation Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated by the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office software Strong attention to details Organizational skills, ability to multi task and prioritize tasks Ability to work effectively within a complex, multi-layered organization
