Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Design a variety of new corporate marketing materials including annual reports, brochures, event program ads, web banners, corporate identity, and other collateral.
  • Create and execute through all phases from concept to distribution, including design, layout, formatting, production, and publishing.
  • Ad-hoc projects may require a variety of tasks including identity design for emerging company programs or entities, and branded gift merchandising.
  • Develops or acquires images used in creative projects through image research and licensing.
  • Creative contribution could include copywriting/editing of content.
  • Act as a liaison and project manage deliverables for high level collateral projects that are created externally, such as the company annual reports. 
  • Manage external and internal relationships including the design firm, print, and fulfillment vendors, as well as internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain and track the workflow, timeline, and coordination of review and approvals.
  • Manage and monitor expenses for all creative projects.
  • Ensure that all production work is completed and delivered correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Anticipate and resolve problems.

    FACTORS FOR SUCCESS:

  • 5+ years of graphic design experience.  Must possess strong sense of concept development, in addition to communication, collaboration, research, and problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of and experience with the creative process beginning with strategic initiatives and executing hands-on through finished work.
  • Highly proficient in desktop publishing and creative design applications such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experienced and skilled in design production, including formatting, laying out, updating, & editing templated/branded designs.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of print production workflows and technologies.
  • Strong communications and presentation skills; able to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Pluses: Copywriting and editing skills. Proficiency in web graphics. Video editing.
  • Strong relationship skills. Ability to lead others while maintaining effective business relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Takes initiative to work and learn independently and proactively contribute to goals.
  • Personable and team-oriented.
