POSITION SUMMARY

 

This position will work with the Business / Technical Product Owners to develop, maintain, support and extend the Oracle EBS R12 applications. This role will assist with the preparation of detailed technical user stories from which programs will be written, and will be responsible for the technical design, development, documentation, testing, implementation and support of extensions and sustainment of the Oracle ERP, EBS applications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Utilize Oracle technical tools such as SQL Developer, TOAD, Oracle Workflow, Forms, BI-Publisher, WEB ADI, PL/SQL to develop solutions to support the business and to enhance functionality based on business requirements
  • Troubleshoot issues to find the root cause and provide technical solutions
  • Follow established SDLC process for code development through code release and support
  • Coordinate, analyze, design and development of reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, and workflows with Oracle technology tools such as Oracle Workflow, PL/SQL, OAF
  • This role will be tasked with developing and supporting complex inbound and outbound file processing using EDI standard and non-standard formats

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of relevant work experience
  • At least 5 - 7 years of experience in designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting Oracle ERP/EBS Application modules include General Ledger, Accounts Payable, FAH, iProcurement, iSupplier, Inventory/Warehouse, ASCP, Demantra, MCSA, APCC, Spend Classification, OBIEE, and Oracle BI
  • Experience developing solutions for Oracle's e-Business Suite and participating in Oracle application implementation
  • Demonstrated experience and skill in developing in Agile Methodologies
  • Experience with Oracle's development tools, including APIs, Open Interface, Business Events, Web ADI, OAF
  • Strong knowledge and experience in SQL & PL/SQL
  • Experience in data mapping both transformation and translation
  • Instructs, directs, and checks the work of other task personnel
  • Responsible for quality assurance review and the evaluation of existing and new software products
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools
  • Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter, with a keen interest in technology and highly motivated towards success
  • Must show initiative and desire to learn business and technology subjects
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Provide written and oral updates to management
  • Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting
  • Experience with Java programming and OA Framework
  • OBIEE, BI Publisher and Workflow Builder
