We are engineers and experts on front-end and mobile technologies dedicated to scaling Yahoo as a platform for our world-wide community of developers.  We own the developer experience and are responsible for ensuring partners can easily integrate Yahoo products in their apps.  We act as advocates for their unmet needs across our product, engineering and business teams, and build developer tools and infrastructure that allows the platform to scale. We also find ways to reach the developers wherever they are and help them use our platform more effectively and efficiently. While  the number of 600,000+ apps that use  Yahoo Mobile Developer platform is impressive,  we are not resting on our laurels, we continue to expand the reach  and capabilities of our platform.

A Lot About You

We're looking for an enthusiastic  full-stack Growth Engineer who loves experimenting and wants to tackle interesting problems.  As the ideal candidate you will  engineer solutions to help mine through our data to understand behavioral patterns  how our partners use Yahoo products. Your efforts  provide insights,  drive actions that span from new product features  to marketing campaigns.  You create and evolve  analytic dashboards across Yahoo products to help understand customer conversion step-by-step through Yahoo product funnels.

Your Day

  • Work with the growth team to implement user tracking, analyze user behaviors, and optimize traditional growth channels
  • Experiment, iterate and optimize conversion and engagement,  be creative, agile, scrappy
  • Collaborate with Yahoo teams to drive scale-able, operational improvements to grow the reach and usage of the Yahoo Mobile Developer platform.
  • Represent Yahoo to the developer community through attendance and participation at industry conferences and meetups

You Must Have

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field; Master's a plus
  • Strong experience with SQL, MySQL
  • Strong experience with Web technologies: Node.js, HTML, JavaScript, CSS
  • Knowledge & skills in a broad range of internet technologies
  • Resourceful, flexible & adaptable
